PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS should follow the
admissions guidelines listed below. Upon completion of
all admission requirements, the Admissions Board at Virginia
Marti College will review all submitted information. Applicants
will then be notified in writing as to their acceptance
status.

The specific requirements and procedures for Virginia
Marti College's prospective students are as follows:
Applicants
must be high school graduates or possess a G.E.D.
Applicants must submit a completed application form along
with a $50.00 non-refundable application fee and a $100.00
refundable registration fee.
A letter of recommendation is required.
Another letter, from the applicant is to be written to
the campus President.
Applicants must complete an informational interview.
Applicants are required to take an entrance evaluation.

Accepted students in the Digital Media, Fashion Design,
Graphic Design and Interior Design programs who wish to
seek advanced placement must bring in a portfolio for review
prior to scheduling classes.
OUT OF STATE INTERNET
ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

Out of state applicants wishing to request an application
may do so, noting the following exceptions:
Although applicants may submit an application electronically,
a hand-written letter to the college President and one
letter of recommendation is still required.
Arrangements must be made between the applicant and the
admissions representative by telephone to conduct the required
informational interview.
Arrangements must be made between the applicant and the
admissions representative for a qualified person to proctor
the entrance evaluation.
*The tuition for non-residents of Ohio is the same as
the tuition for residents.
*The International tuition is different. (See information
on foreign student acceptance)
REQUIREMENTS FOR
FOREIGN STUDENT APPLICANTS

Before a foreign student may be considered for acceptance
into the Virginia Marti College Art and Design, the student
must submit the following:
Transcripts of grades from school last completed, and/or
currently attending.
Copy of Birth Certificate.
Proof of income/financial status.(Affidavit of Financial
Responsibility Form)
Proof of proficiency in the English language.
Application for Admission into the Virginia Marti College
of Art and Design.
Application fee of $200.00, U.S. currency. (Non-refundable)
Registration fee of $300.00, U.S. currency. (Refunded
if student is not accepted)
Student must attend full time, if accepted. (Be sure to
specify this on the application)
Doctor's letter of good health.
After the college has received all of the above, the Office
of Admissions will issue the proper forms to be completed
by the applicant and the proper authorities in the applicant's
country. (This is the I-20 form.)
If the Office of Admissions can be of further assistance,
please contact them immediately to avoid any delay.
ACCEPTANCE TO THE
COLLEGE

Upon completion of all admission requirements, the Admissions
Board will review the information to determine acceptance.
Applicants will be notified in writing as to their acceptance
status. If an applicant is denied, their registration
fee will be refunded promptly.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
_____________________________________
Virginia Marti College of Art and Design relies solely
on tuition and fees to carry on its educational programs.
Every effort is made to hold costs to a minimum, consistent
with the facilities and the high academic standards necessary
to prepare students for careers in their respective industries.
The college reserves the right to make tuition and fee
changes according to economic conditions. Notice of any
future changes will be given as early as possible.
All tuition is charged by the credit hour. As stated in
the Enrollment Agreement, payment for classes is due for
an individual quarter only and no obligation for future
quarters exists. Tuition does not include books, materials,
or equipment/model fees. These items are charged quarterly
and depend on courses taken.
Virginia Marti College of Art and Design accepts MasterCard,
Discover, and Visa credit cards for payment of tuition
and fees.
REFUND POLICY

An applicant will receive a full refund of the $100.00
registration fee in the event that the applicant cancels
a signed Enrollment Agreement within five (5) calendar
days of signing such an agreement , or in the event the
applicant is denied acceptance into the college.
If the applicant cancels the Enrollment Agreement after
five (5) days, but before the start of classes, the applicant
will receive all monies paid except the registration and
application fees.
Students who have not visited the college facility prior
to enrollment will have the opportunity to withdraw without
penalty within five (5) days following either attendance
at the new student orientation or following a tour of the
college facilities and inspection of the equipment available.
The college reserves the right to postpone or change the
date or time when any class is offered if the minimum percentage
of enrolled students agree to the change. Students who
do not want the change may be offered a full refund for
the class affected.
Any monies due to an applicant shall be refunded within
30 days from cancellation or failure to appear on or before
the first day of class. Refunds due to students who made
cash payments for tuition and fees shall be remitted within
30 days from their last date of attendance. Any Title IV
Grant monies due to the Department of Education or the
State of Ohio shall be refunded within 30 days from the
last date of attendance. Any Title IV Loan monies due shall
be refunded to the lender within 60 days from the last
day of attendance.
Due to administrative costs involved, a refund of less
than $15.00 will not be made, unless the student has a
student loan, in which case the refund will be returned
to the lender.
